There are no heroes in Super Powered Smash Masters that better exemplify what it means to be a hero in Super Powered Smash Masters than Dark Unicorn, and for that we are truly grateful. Dark Unicorn is so iconic and cool that we decided to name our company after him, and, lawsuit aside, we’re glad we did!
When you draw Dark Unicorn from your hero stack and place him on your team, a few thoughts are likely to run through your mind: “Did I remember to put Night Pony in my deck?”, and “is Night Pony already active?”, and “did I remember to sign up for the Dark Unicorn mailing list?”. All good questions.
Dark Unicorn’s power “Pony Power” allows him to summon his sidekick Night Pony from pretty much anywhere – even the defeated pile – and add her to your team. If you already have the maximum 3 heroes on your team, now you have 4 active heroes, and that’s COOL! Or, if you have 4 active heroes, you’ll gain a 5th, or if you have 5 heroes out, well, you get a 6th, but really, we just told you that the maximum is 3, so… cheat much?
Like most sidekicks, Night Pony is way tougher than her… main kick? If Dark Unicorn is also active, Night Pony can make use of her power “Friendship is overrated”, which lets her attack enemies without using a Smash card. That’s why cowardly criminals and even the most seasoned Smash Masters all learn to fear ponies.
